Lavender Haze
Oil on canvas, 20" x 16 "
2025
$1,200
In this painting, I focused on using light, layering, and clarity to convey realistic depth. I choose to capture these butterflies to bring attention to how they are affected by climate change. Warmer winters and shorter summers are causing Karner butterfly caterpillars to emerge seasons before their food source, leading to population decline.
Safe and Sound
Oil on canvas, 30" x 40"
March 2025
$1,900
"Safe and Sound" is a tribute to the grace of sea turtles and the beauty of coral reefs. As both an artist and a scuba diver, I am in awe of the intricate ecosystems underwater. This piece is a dedication to my love for the colors found underwater and the resilience of underwater life, reminding us of the hidden underwater worlds that must be preserved in our oceans.

Change
Oil on canvas, 10" x 8"
2025
$500
This painting of a blue crab captures a close up of the little world crabs live in among rocks and shells — but also a shift in their ecosystem. Once rare in New England waters, blue crabs are now appearing in greater numbers as the Gulf of Maine warms at an alarming rate. This body of water has heated up nearly three times faster than the global average. The simple presence of this crab is a warning sign of climate change reshaping marine life in real time.
